It is meant to help students visualize different careers and the paths to get to them.

November: Seth Callos, Edward Jones, a financial advisor.

December: Andrew Huddleston and Kyle Mundy, park rangers from Albeni Falls Dam

January: Troy Falardeau, ex-military

February: Carolyn Purdy, retired nurse

Next Career Cafe: March 12

Who’s presenting: Patricia and Todd Sudick

Topic: The Military

Where at: Mrs. Ballenger’s office in the annex at 12:20-12:55 p.m. (lunch)

Students will be in there the full duration of lunch time. Students will also receive juice and cookies during the presentation for participation.

Honor Society news

Honor Society in our schools is very important for many reasons. One thing it does is allow students to be able to advance their studies. They are very helpful for students who are not being challenged enough and already know the material they are learning.

Carrying a high GPA and being an honors students will help allow them to take honors classes in high school and will allow a student to graduate with hon- ors if they take enough of them.

PRJH students with a GPA of 3.25 or higher have been invited to join Honor Society by completing an ap- plication to join. We are very excited to have new members, as it is a great achievement for our students and school.

Honor Society coordinates several “good deed” activities throughout the year; our first upcoming this year is Earth Day cleanup with the Priest River Lamanna High School Honor Society members. It is a great honor to be invited in and students and parents should be proud!
