| March 14, 2020 1:00 AM

Professional landscape photographer Linda Lantzy has released a comprehensive guide to exploring some of Idaho’s most beautiful and iconic landscapes.

“Discovering Idaho’s Scenic Drives and Backroad Treasures” takes photographers, sightseers, and history buffs along 48 lesser-known routes into the heart of the beautiful Gem State. The book provides detailed directions, maps, visual references, photographic tips, QR codes to detailed online maps and exquisite photographs of places some may never have imagined.

Guide users will find iconic vistas, pioneer cabins, antique vehicles and old barns, and many other unforgettable locations just begging to be seen, experienced and photographed.

Twin Falls author and photographer Shari Hart (windandsagephotography.com) contributed her vast expertise to the guide with detailed route details and images covering the Magic Valley area of south-central Idaho.Lantzy, of Coeur d’Alene, was the 2017 Idaho Conservation League Artist in Residence. She founded Idaho Scenic Images (idahoscenics.com) in 2006 and has traveled tens of thousands of miles throughout the state, producing images from areas well off the beaten path. This book is the product of that research.

The book is available at The Corner Bookstore, Vanderford’s Books and Office Products and the Carousel Emporium.
