| March 21, 2020 1:00 AM

Linda Williams, 61, passed peacefully in her Sagle, Idaho, home, in the presence of her loved ones, on March 13, 2020, following a four-month battle against brain cancer.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date; at which time all of those who knew and loved Linda are welcome to join us in saying goodbye and reminiscing through the many wonderful memories we hold close to our hearts.

Linda was born on July 23, 1958, to Bud and Virginia Elder at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint, Idaho. Linda was the youngest of five children. Linda attended local schools and met the love of her life, Bill Williams, during her years at Sandpoint High School. Bill and Linda married on August 26, 1978. In 1979, Bill and Linda were blessed with their only child, Jeremy, who was the light of Linda’s life.

Linda worked various jobs throughout her younger years and found her work family in 1999 at Napa Auto Parts in Sandpoint. She dedicated 21 years of service to Napa and enjoyed working out in her community; building relationships and visiting with everyone she crossed paths with during her career.

Linda was a special woman who always had an open door and helping hand for anyone who needed it. Linda loved to spend time with her family and friends, hosting a neighborly fish fry, enjoying a cold beer, bargain shopping at thrift shops/ yard sales, playing bingo, or just laughing and visiting over a meal. She went on countless adventures with her husband, Bill, their siblings and close friends. She was passionate about building memories with her son, Jeremy and welcomed his wife, Amber into her family in 2003. Linda held a special place in her heart for her nephew Justin Williams (Heidi). Linda considered Justin a second son and treasured the times she had with him, his wife Heidi, and their boys Austin and Dalton. Linda adored spending time with her grandchildren, Tanner and Abigail. Her eyes were always glistening with excitement when she watched Tanner play baseball or took Abigail shopping. She also loved spending a day on the lake soaking up sunshine and taking advantage of the beautiful place she called home.

Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bill Williams, her brother Jim Marrow (Kim), sisters Debbie Knowles (Mike), Bobbie Chapman (Earl), Bobbie Marcy (Neil), Sue Daniels, Janet Lowry (John), and Sharon Calio (Frank). She leaves behind her son Jeremy Williams (Amber), 2 grandchildren Tanner and Abigail, and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Virginia Elder, sister Sally Brown (Mike), and brothers, Harold and Melvin Williams.

Linda’s time on this earth has ended, but through her family and friends she will always be present in our hearts.

Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint is handling the arrangements. Please visit Linda’s online memorial at lakeviewfuneral.com and sign her guest book.
