Katherine Alice Reed, 63

Katherine Alice Reed, 63, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Private family services will be held.

Katherine was born on March 31, 1957, in Yakima, Washington, to Gerald and Hazel Hainline.

She graduated from Hanford High School before attending North-west Arkan-sas Com-munity College. She married Arnold Cox in July 1982 Siloam Springs, Arkansas. After 14 years they divorced.

She later married Cliff Wilson in Clayton, Washington. Her final marriage was to Russell Reed on April 14, 2002.

After Russell’s death last year, she moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, in order to be closer to her daughter.

Katherine had been attending the Sandpoint Assembly of God Church. She had a strong faith and loved her devotions. She enjoyed quilting and volunteering at the women’s shelter.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Patrick) Rachels of Sandpoint; four grandchildren, David, Natalie, Makala, and Annalee; four brothers, Bill, Tim, Stan Thompson and David Hainline; and one sister, LaDana Castor.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Russell Reed.
