CASA plans popular Purse Party fundraiser for Nov. 19

| November 3, 2020 1:00 AM

On Thursday, Nov. 19 from 4-7 p.m., Pend d’Oreille Winery will host a Purse Party for North Idaho CASA.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organization is waiving the $5 entrance fee, encouraging masks and will have some purses on display in the hallway. Area residents are invited to stop by for a chance to bid, buy or win designer handbags and gently used purses. Hundreds of styles and colors will be featured. Guests are encouraged to social distancing, mingle and shop during the three-hour event, while supporting Bonner County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates, the only non-profit who advocates for child victims of abuse and neglect throughout their child protection case.

Have a purse you would like to donate for the cause? Purse drop locations can be found at these partnering businesses: Finan McDonald, Sandpoint Furniture, Trinity, Alpine Shop, Bonner General Gift Shop, Niemans Floral and Garden, Carousel and Creations, Bizarre Bizarre, Eves Leaves Xhale Pilates Studio, Style Bar, Campfire Couture and 41 South.

If you or your business is interested in partnering with CASA, please visit our website at www.NorthIdahoCasa.org for more information. Sponsorships are currently available for this popular event. Contact kristin@northidahocasa.org for more information.
