Geezer Forum on Zoom today

| November 10, 2020 1:00 AM

Personal health and satisfactory relationships are dependent on healthy communication.

However, as dementia advances, a person’s ability to make rational decisions diminishes.

That greatly impacts how that person can communicate with other family members as well as how family members communicate with the loved one affected by dementia.

To address that all-too-common dilemma, today’s Geezer Forum on Zoom will focus on communication where dementia is the central life-circumstance in a family. Resource leader is Joel Loiacono. Joel is Regional Director of Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho, Alzheimer's Association Washington State Chapter.

The program will take place from 2:30-4 p.m. Contact Paul Graves, lead geezer-in-training for Elder Advocates, at 208-610-4971 or elderadvocates@nctv.com for information.
