No sledding allowed

Since the falling of about 8 inches of snow, the hillside streets have made fine coasting places. Coasting on streets from the schoolhouse down to High has always been very dangerous, and is even more so since the new highway has been made a speedway through town. The village board has decided to allow no coasting on the streets in question, but instead will allow the children to coast on the park hill. The park road where it intersects Albeni will be blocked off and no cars allowed on it, thus affording an ideal coasting hill. The ruling will be strictly enforced.
