Hunt underway for missing man
NEWPORT — The Newport Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing person who was recently released from the hospital.
Ronald Pool, 51, was last seen in the city of Newport on Saturday, Nov. 21.
Pool was driving a 2006 standard-cab Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with a rear Tennessee license plate (U06-29V). The vehicle did not have a front license plate, according to authorities.
Pool is a Caucasian male who stands 5 feet, 11 inches, and weighs approximately 275 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was reportedly leaving Newport at approximatelly 4:45 p.m. on Saturday and driving to a relative's residence in Spokane. Pool has not been seen or heard from since, Newport Police said.
Pool is reportedly unfamiliar with the area. Those with information about his whereabouts are asked to call the Newport Police Department at 509-447-5611 or their local law enforcement agency.
