Richard ‘Dick’ Michael Inman, 72
Richard “Dick” Michael Inman, 72, was born July 16, 1948, in Thompson Falls, Montana, to Blacky and Carroll Inman. He passed away Nov. 19, 2020, in Boise, Idaho.
Dick lived and went to schools from Plains, Montana, to Sandpoint, Idaho. Dick married Gail Syth on June 10, 1967, in Sandpoint. They were blessed with two children, Cami and Travis.
Dick worked in the woods logging, excavating, and in lumber mills. Dick enjoyed and participated in rodeos … he loved his horses even if they were bucking him off! Elk hunting, fishing, camping, and stock car racing were all things he loved to do and he loved being around his family.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Elsie, Linda, Debbie, and Ann. He is survived by wife, Gail, of 53 years; children, Cami Kemp and Travis Inman; grandchildren: Bryce, Brett, Mikayla, Jessica, Paul, and Teresa; great-grandchildren and also extended family and grandchildren; sister, Patty (Vic); brothers, Frank and Wally; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dick wasn’t just Patty’s brother, he was her best friend, her hero, and will always walk on water. His mischievous eyes, crooked smile, and contagious laugh will always be with us.
No services are planned at this time. Yates Funeral Home is entrusted with final arrangements. Please visit Dick’s online memorial and sign his guestbook at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
