California fugitive arrested on child porn charges

SANDPOINT — A fugitive from California has been arrested in Bonner County on child pornography charges, according to court records.

Nicholas Carlo Davis is charged in Santa Barbara County on charges of distribution of child porn, possession of child porn, distribution of private messages and making a concealed recording for the purposes of arousal.

Davis, a 23-year-old from Lompoc, Calif., was arrested Tuesday and made an initial appearance in Bonner County Magistrate Court on Wednesday.

Extradition proceedings are pending.

Davis was featured on the Santa Barbara Sheriff's Office Most Wanted Wednesday on Oct. 21. Davis was the subject of a $50,000 arrest warrant at the time.
