Disband selfish behavior for community's general welfare

| November 29, 2020 1:00 AM

Bonner County Commissioner Steve Bradshaw believes that breathing is an unalienable right which cannot be infringed because “without it, life ceases to exist.” Would he also agree that urination and defecation also cannot be infringed since these, too, are necessary for life? Of course not (I hope).

There are some things that government and health agencies need to regulate for health and safety considerations. Requiring facial coverings in crowded public places in the middle of a pandemic is, I firmly believe, one of them.

We’re all in this together and sometimes we need to disband selfish behavior to provide for the general welfare of our community.
