Pend Oreille County issues silver alert

NEWPORT — The Pend Oreille County Sheriff's Office has issued a silver alert for a 71-year-old resident who hasn't been seen since Sept. 30.

Sheriff's officials said Kenneth Hall left his residence on that date at 3:10 a.m. in a white Ford Focus.

Hall reportedly left without taking any belongings or medications for a heart ailment. He may also have a small dog with him, sheriff's officials said.

Hall longtime girlfriend reported him missing and he has not been seen since Sept. 30.

Those with knowledge of Hall's whereabouts are asked to call the sheriff's office at 509-447-3151.
