The Daughters of the American Revolution Wild Horse Trail Chapter recently sponsored Jeanne Warwick's fifth-grade class at Northside Elementary as part of their Community Classroom Program.
DAR members donated color dry erase marker sets for each student to use while working with math problems involving long division and multi-digit multiplication.
"This will help to make working with math problems fun and easy while ensuring safety for all student during this COVID-19 pandemic because each child gets their own set of markers to keep and work with," Warwick said. "Our 5th grade class at Northside is very grateful to be adopted by the DAR this year and look forward to working with them in the future."
