A huge thanks to all who helped after wind storm

| September 15, 2020 1:00 AM

I want to give a big thank you to the community at Bottle Bay that came out to help clean up at Bottle Bay Resort after the storm hit on Labor Day.

I wish I could reach out to everyone who helped and special thanks to Reuben Ross, Brad with the tree chipper and Martina and Marty at Day on the lake and all cabin guests and parties at the restaurant that helped when a huge cottonwood came down and crushed a boat and truck and building in the process.

The winds caused lots of problems with the docks and many boats got damaged; however, despite the hardships encountered, everyone buckled down and helped together as a team and tied boats back up, reset docks and log boom and cleaned up the fallen trees.

This is a perfect example of care and consideration from one human being to another. By the time I heard the news, people were already working together to take care of the problem. Real Idaho style. Even though I do not know any of you, I still want to say thanks and hopefully can return the favor to the bank of goodwill at some point in my life.
