Kenneth Burch, 45, of Athol, was arrested in the U.S. 95 area in Athol at 2:03 a.m. on a charge of resisting and obstructing and being an intoxicated pedestrian on the highway.

Aug. 30

Report of a burglary in the 32000 block of Highway 200 in Kootenai at 1:51 p.m.

A purse found on Upper Pack River Road was turned in at the Sandpoint Police Department on W. Lake Street at 4:31 p.m.

An officer responded to a family offense reported in the 1200 block of Cedar Street at 7:23 p.m.

Report of two personal water craft driving recklessly near City Beach at 7:40 p.m.

A gun found in the Pine Street area was returned to its owner at 7:53 p.m.

A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 9:06 p.m.

Jacob G. Kissee, 23, of Ponderay, was cited on Fifth Avenue at 9:56 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Angelina P. Wooten, 46, of Deer Park, Wash., was cited in the Fifth Avenue area at 10:44 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Aug. 31

A 16-year-old Sandpoint male was issued a promise to appear in the Larch Street area at 1:07 a.m. on a charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

PONDERAY POLICE

Aug. 30

A theft was reported on Kootenai Cutoff Road at 7:47 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of suspicious circumstances in the 476900 block of U.S. 95 at 10:02 p.m.

Jason R. Gallaher, 46, of Sandpoint was arrested in the 476900 block of U.S. 95 at 11:53 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
