PLUMMER — Clark Fork volleyball continued to roll through its schedule Thursday night, taking down Lakeside in four sets, 25-9, 20-25, 25-16, 25-21.

The Lady Cats (6-1, 2-0 North Star League) have now won four straight matches after suffering their only defeat on Sept. 15 against Wallace.

"I was pretty happy with our play," head coach Michelle Valliere said. "The second game we got a little in our heads and let them beat us."

Paige Valliere led the team with 35 assists and 11 digs.

"[Lakeside] put the ball over a ton and we were able to make plays off of it which was really awesome," Valliere said.

Katelyn Matteson had three blocks, Caiya Yanik tallied six aces and Emily Myers added 13 kills.

Valliere was really impressed with Myers' hitting.

"She did a really good job placing the ball," Valliere said. "She just didn't hit the same spot every time, she hit line, she hit angle, she hit sharp angle and she tipped the ball and that made a huge difference. Then the players on the other side of the court can't just camp where you're hitting the ball."

Clark Fork hits the road for the third time this season when they travel to Priest River at 6 p.m. Saturday.
