Robert 'Bob' Lee Jasper, 73

Robert “Bob” Lee Jasper, 73, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021, at his home in Cocolalla, Idaho.

Bob was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, having served two tours in Vietnam from 1966 to 1969.

Bob was an avid bird watcher and could name any bird that graced him with its presence at his many bird feeders and was particularly fond of bald eagles, woodpeckers and hummingbirds. Bob was a connoisseur of history and world events and never stopped learning. His hobbies included reading, photography and fishing. He loved wildlife and nature.

Bob is survived by his wife, Julie of 41 years; and children, Katrina (Danny) Ainsworth, Dale (Cynthia) Bartholomew and Roxanne Hansen; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his sister, Linda McNeill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. No funeral will be held per his wishes. Donations may be made in his name to any organization that assists sick and disabled veterans.
