NOTICE OF 2021 PEND OREILLE LAKE AND RIVER, IDAHO EURASIAN WATERMILFOIL TREATMENT Dear property owners and lake users, Eurasian watermilfoil has been identified as a significant invasive species within the Pend Oreille Lake and River system of Idaho and is known to negatively affect the beneficial use of a waterbody. As such, an aquatic herbicide treatment is planned for discrete areas of Pend Oreille Lake and River system the week of August 23, 2021, based on weather conditions. The treatment timing was selected to maximize treatment efficacy when Eurasian watermilfoil is actively growing. Approximately 125 acres of the lake and river system will be treated during one treatment event with liquid florpyrauxifen-benzyl (ProcellaCOR EC, USEPA Registration # 67690-80). STATE TIMBER SALE CR040009, CAREYWOOD GNA TON SALVAGE A public oral auction will be conducted at the Idaho Department of Lands office, 2550 Highway 2 W., Sandpoint, ID 83864, at 10:00 a.m. local time, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 for an estimated 8,006 tons of timber, marked or otherwise designated for cutting.
