A few thoughts on the city's 'vision'

With sincere apologies to Pat Gooby and Larry Smith for the length of this letter…
From news stories in our local papers, it appears Sandpoint is on the brink of greatness, thanks in large part to the city’s recruitment of people with vision.
Most of us born in Sandpoint (together with those who weren’t born here but have lived in Bonner County, not just in Idaho, let’s say 40 years or more), are amazed at what we see taking place.
Of course, the locals, lacking vision, could never have dreamed up the “improvements” that have been made, are underway or planned for.
If quality of life is built into the equation, gone are the days when Sandpoint qualified as the most beautiful little town in America.
