One man was treated for injuries in connection with a possible shooting on Monday.

There were reports made to the sheriff's dispatch of a verbal disturbance followed by the sound of possible gunshots.

Deputies responded to the 100 block of E. First Avenue minutes before midnight to find the scene completely deserted of any involved parties. Nine sheriff’s units responded to the scene, where deputies received a tip that a male was being treated at Bonner General Health.

In a press release from Bonner County Sheriff’s Office, the person being treated for injuries was “very unhelpful” and vague in statements to law enforcement.

There is no identified threat to the public, but details remain unknown regarding suspects or if any arrests have been made in connection to the incident.

The Daily Bee will continue to publish information as it becomes available.
