Senators' support shows commitment to all Idahoans

Thank you Sen. Mike Crapo, R-Idaho, and Sen. James Risch, R-Idaho, for voting in favor of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act which passed the Senate on Tuesday.

At last, we have bipartisan support to address climate change. Amongst other important climate related allocations, the bill includes money for the Department of Agriculture — $500 million for what it calls “wildfire defense grants to at-risk communities.”

We will need more, but now we have a boost in building climate-resilient communities
