ORDINANCE NO. 622 AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2021, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SEVEN MILLION FOUR HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FOURTEEN DOLLARS AND NO CENTS ($7,401,514.00) TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF PRIEST RIVER FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES FOR WHICH SAID APPROPRIATION IS MADE, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF SUFFICIENT TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY, PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES, DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE CERTIFIED COPIES OF THIS ORDINANCE WITH THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND IDAHO SECRETARY OF STATE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The cost of the improvements completed this fiscal year is to be financed by United States Department of Agriculture - Rural Development Grant Funds in the amount of $258,156.00. SECTION IV: The City Water Fund expects to make improvements consisting of the construction of a new water reservoir and backwash basin rehabilitation during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2021. The projected cost of the improvements is expected to be up to $2,389,380.00. The cost of the improvements completed this fiscal year is to be financed by Idaho Community Development Block Grant Funds in the amount of $492,000.00, a loan from United States Department of Agriculture - Rural Development in an amount of up to $1,472,380.00, and United States Department of Agriculture - Rural Development Grant Funds in the amount of $425,000.00. SECTION V: That a general tax levy on all taxable property within the City of Priest River be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2021. SECTION VI: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION VII: The City Clerk of the City of Priest River is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the County Commissioners of Bonner County, Idaho, and the Idaho Secretary of State, in accordance with Idaho Code 50-1003 and 63-804. SECTION VIII: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval, and publication in one issue of the Bonner County Daily Bee, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Priest River, and the official newspaper of said City.
