Lura L. (Fox) Hollett

Lura L. (Fox) Hollett, passed peacefully on August 22, 2021 with her husband, Vernon M. Hollett of 69 years by her side.

She is also survived by her sons, Gordon (Melanie) Hollett of Priest River, Idaho, Gary Hollett of Priest River, and Glenn (Lori) Hollett of North Pole, Alaska; and daughters, Gail Hollett of Priest River, and Ginger Hollett of Sandpoint, Idaho; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-and great-great-grandchildren.

She was born in San Diego, California, on November 14, 1932, the daughter of Frank Shaw Fox and Lura June Robertson. Lura had one brother, Frank Shaw Fox. Her parents and brother predeceased Lura.

Lura and her husband Vernon, moved to Idaho in 1970 and started a dairy in the Hoodoo Valley. They ran the dairy until the mid-1990s when they sold the dairy and built a house across the meadow, living there until 2016. Lura loved to spend time in her garden, enjoyed sewing and needlework and participated in the community square dance club.

A private family interment will take place at Seneacquoteen Cemetery.
