Jakob Allen Washburn

Jakob Allen Washburn passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2021, at the heartbreaking age of 24 years old.

Jakob was born at Bonner General Health in Sandpoint, Idaho, on March 10, 1997, to Wendy Leona Goyette and Dwayne Curtis Washburn. He spent most of his childhood in Sandpoint before moving to Ketchikan, Alaska, where he would graduate from Revilla High School in May of 2017, before returning to Idaho to start his adult life.

Enthusiastic about life, Jakob worked construction jobs and trained in UFC fighting. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, spending time with his friends and family, and his dog, Rosie. He was kind to those who crossed his path, and had a wonderful outgoing personality.

Jakob’s contagious smile will be severely missed by all of his friends.

Jakob is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Patricia Goyette; great-grandmother, Mary LeBret; great-grandfather, Chuck Robinson; great-grandfather, John LeBret; as well as cousins Dean Powell and Johnny Herriman.

Pap Joe will conduct Jakob’s memorial services will be held on August 28, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Sagle Community Hall, 356 Talache Road, Sagle, Idaho. A potluck will follow.

The family respectfully invites those who wish to attend to share stories and memories of this amazing young man, While we have lost a beloved son, brother and friend, heaven has gained its most beautiful angel.
