| August 31, 2021 1:00 AM

Fall is right around the corner and the last warm sunny days of summer are here for all to enjoy. It’s also the perfect time to restock your shelves to prepare for the seasons ahead.

The Friends of the Library has the ideal solution: books, books and more books. To that end, the Friends of The Library is hosting its monthly book sale on Saturday, Sept. 4, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The shelves are overflowing the organization is filling the tables with paperback westerns, including many by William H. Johnstone, mysteries, fiction and nonfiction. There also will be a robust new selection of kid’s books.

The cost is 50 cents for paperbacks and $1 for hard-cover book. FOL members said the community’s continuing patronage makes it possible for it to fulfill its dual mission of supporting the library and putting books in the hands of the community at prices that make it easy for anyone to realize the incredible pleasure of reading.
