Dr. Bob Stoll, DVM
On Monday, November 29, 2021, Dr. Bob Stoll, DVM, passed away peacefully with his family at his side.
Bob received his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin. He then attended veterinary school at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and the University of Minnesota. He built his first veterinary practice in McCall, Idaho, in 1982. He and his family then moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1994 where he started his clinic, Animal Medical Care. Bob and his wife, Heidi, met in college and have been married for 44 years.
Bob had a passion for sailing, skiing, and all creatures, great and small. He took tremendous pride in caring for his clients and their beloved pets. Bob will always be remembered for his humor, boisterous laugh, intelligence, passion for learning, love of his family and pets, and enthusiastic spirit.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Heidi; his daughter, Laura and husband Jason Codding of Kirkland, Washington; son Will (Sandpoint), son Erik and wife Sarah Stoll of Wenatchee, Washington; son Kurt and wife Elizabeth Stoll of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and his loyal dog companion, Anker.
Per Bob’s wishes, a private family memorial will be held at a later date. If you do choose, in lieu of flowers, Bob’s family requests that donations be made to the Morris Animal Foundation (morrisanimalfoundation.org; 720 S Colorado Blvd, Suite 174A, Denver, CO 80246) in support of furthering the best care for our pets. Dr. Bob and Heidi would like to thank all of their clients and friends for their support over the years and will miss you dearly.
Family and friends are invited to sign Bob’s online guest book at www.coffeltfuneral.com.
Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
