SMS hosts regional wrestling tournament Saturday

SANDPOINT — Sandpoint Middle School will host the Region 1 wrestling tournament this Saturday at SMS.

The event starts at 9 a.m. The Bullpups and teams from Woodland, Canfield, Lakes, Post Falls, River City and Lakeland middle schools will all be participating.

General admission is $5 for adults, $3 for K-12 students and a family pass for two adults and kids is $15. There is no charge for senior citizens and kids under 5.

Only SMS-student ASB cards will be honored for this event.

Tournament sweatshirts will be available for sale as well concessions and drinks.

All spectators are to remain in the bleachers. The SMS cafeteria, hallway restrooms and gym entrance restrooms will be available to spectators. The gym floor and mat areas are strictly for coaches, wrestlers and tournament staff.
