SHS tours NIC
COEUR d’ALENE — Sandpoint High School got a chance to tour North Idaho College’s main campus and the NIC Parker Technical Education Center last week.
“Students were informed about the large variety of degrees and programs offered at each of the campuses, including: nursing, business, welding and auto technician,” said Jeralyn Mire, post-secondary counselor at SHS.
Many students reported that they were surprised at how affordable the college classes are and how many programs NIC offered, said Mire.
The field trip was paid for by a Panhandle Alliance For Education grant.
