| December 29, 2021 1:00 AM

BOISE — Daylee Driggs scored 12 points for the Bulldogs in a win over the Kaveman in the opening round of the Timber-Lion Tournament at Borah High.

“The girls did a good job, especially considering our bus left Sandpoint at 4:30 in the morning,” Sandpoint coach Will Love said. “Our shots weren’t always falling, but defense allowed us to keep the lead throughout the game. The girls did a great job executing offensively in the fourth quarter after Kuna cut the lead to four (points) early in the period.”

Destiny Lyons scored 10 points for Sandpoint (4-5), which faces Caldwell today at Borah High.
