Sandpoint softball hosting Presidents' Day clinic

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint High School softball team will host a clinic for girls in grades first through eighth on Presidents' Day, Feb. 15.

Each participant will receive instruction from SHS softball coaches and current players. The clinic is geared toward teaching basic and enhanced fastpitch softball skills to players of all skill levels with an emphasis on fun.

The clinic will feature instruction on hitting, bunting, throwing, catching, pitching, fielding and base running.

A clinch for first through fourth graders will be held from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and one for fifth through eighth graders will last from 9 a.m. to noon.

The clinic will take place inside the Sandpoint High School gym and the cost to register is $10.
