Concerning the PHD mask mandate extension: Big deal
Concerning the extension of the mask mandate by the PHD, ehhh, big deal. Perhaps a little over half of the people I see in the grocery store wear one, and they don't enforce the mandate, not even Walmart. I see clerks who wear some tiny little plastic thing that covers their chin. I suppose you can get COVID through your chins skin cells? Also, I see people out walking, no one else around or driving in their rig by themselves, wearing a mask. Who or what do they think will give them COVID-19, the tree they're walking past, the seat next to them in their car?
Where I work, we have a mask mandate, but that is the only place I wear them. We are issued those blue ones. They do no good whatsoever. Some times our machines get hot, I smell that, I smell products we package. The particles that allow me to smell these things are larger than the COVID virus. So if they can get through the mask, the smaller bug easily can.
The PHD board can issue all the pointless, useless, nonsensical mandates they want. Few, including the sheriff take them seriously.
