Enough with the hysterics on mask wearing

| February 21, 2021 1:00 AM

To the people complaining that too many aren’t wearing masks - enough with the hysterics. If you are worried about the novel coronavirus then take personal responsibility for yourself and wear your own mask or get the vaccine. Nobody has an obligation to protect you by wearing a face covering. If you feel that the mask helps, then by all means, wear one. But my rights don’t end because you are afraid, and nobody can force me to wear a garment against my will. This is America.

When I was a teenager I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and my entire immune system was erased with immunosuppressive drugs. I did not wear a mask, I did not expect my peers to take any special precautions around me, and I blamed nobody when I caught pneumonia (three times), because I alone am responsible for my own health.

“Trust the science,” is what all media outlets say, and according to a new Danish study, evidence shows that masks aren’t even effective!

With an illness that has a <99.9% survival rate, I will take my chances and live a normal life instead of being consumed by hysteria.
