North Idaho Volleyball Club U18, U16 teams go undefeated

The North Idaho Volleyball Club had a great showing at a pair of events this past weekend.

The U18 team, coached by Tracy Olson, former Mizuno N. Lights coach, and Peter Klein, pro beach coach and player, went a perfect 6-0 at the Ace of Hearts Tournament by beating Club Gold, Sky and Extreme at the HUB in Liberty Lake, Washington.

The U16 team, coached by SHS alumnae Hailey Dunn, former Gonzaga University setter, and Taylor Martin, former Central Washington University outside hitter, went 3-0 at the T3 Jamboree by beating the T3 and River City teams.

"We are very proud of the success of our teams last weekend and are equally happy with their progress," said Jack Dyck, NIVBC coaching director and board member. "Both our players and coaches have worked very hard and that is paying off. NIVBC is committed to continued hard work and dedication to regain our position in every age group at the top of our region."
