CLARK FORK — Clark Fork boys basketball fell to Genesis Prep 51-41 on Tuesday night.

The Wampus Cats gave the Jaguars everything they had for four quarters, but a few mistakes late cost Clark Fork.

Head coach Heath Beason was impressed with what he saw from his team.

"Genesis Prep is a very well-coached team, but our boys actually played well against them," Beason said. "I think this is a turning point for us, so I'm excited to move forward. Everybody should be proud of this game in regards to how well they played, what they did and even the outcome, even though we lost."

"We played this game with a lot of patience and consistency," Beason said.
