Thomas Ellsworth, 37, of Priest River was arrested at the intersection of U.S. 95 and Tibbetts Lane in Ponderay at 12:17 a.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

An officer responded to a report of a stray kitten reported to be stuck in a log in the 600 block of N. Third Avenue at 8:46 a.m.

Report of a trespass in the pre-100 block of Seven Sisters Drive in Kootenai at 9:07 a.m.

A suspicious incident was reported in the 1200 block of W. Superior Street at 9:55 a.m.

Officers provided courtesy transport to KBH for an individual after a reported suicide threat in the city at 12:52 p.m.

Report of a reckless driver on U.S. 95 in the city at 12:47 p.m.

Drug paraphernalia was seized for destruction on N. Third Avenue at 1:44 p.m.

Report of a dog locked in a vehicle in the 400 block of Church Street at 1:48 p.m.

Report of a hit-and-run accident in the area of U.S. 2 and S. Boyer Avenue at 2:33 p.m.

An alarm reported in the 1100 block of Kinnikinnik Avenue at 4:36 p.m.

Jesse S Hines, 33, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 600 block of W. Superior Street at 7:23 p.m. on a felony warrant.

Report of possible threats in the 300 block of Halley Street at 9:35 p.m.

A civil standby was requested in the 1100 block of Sixth Avenue at 9:34 p.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

June 28

Officers, EMS and Northside Fire responded to a three-vehicle, non-injury accident in the area of Highway 200 and Kootenai Cutoff Road at 6:22 a.m.

An officer was unable to locate a suspicious reported to be in the Cedar Avenue area at 9:13 a.m.

Possible fraud was reported on U.S. 95 at 5:08 p.m.

A felony warrant arrest was reported on Cedar Avenue at 6:29 p.m.

Ashley J. Mossey, 34, of Troy, Montana, was arrested in the 479000 block of U.S. 95 at 6:41 p.m. on charges of driving under the influence of drugs, and injury to child.
