119 participate in Basketball School of Sandpoint summer camp

KOOTENAI — Nearly 120 kids participated in the Basketball School of Sandpoint summer camp on July 19-23.

Girls and boys 7 to 15 years old attended the five-day camp.

Here were the individual competition winners in each age group:

7-8 — Emerson Marshall (bump), Matthew McDaniel (layup races) and Avalon Gillis (pressure shooting).

9-10 — Vince Gunter (bump), Mazie Miles (layup races) and Simon Barker (halftime shootout).

11-12 — Kai Wilson (bump), Jackson Wilson (layup races) and Kohta Fisher (halftime shootout).

13-15 — Sage Medeiros (bump), Sage Medeiros (layup races) and Wil Leisy (halftime shootout).
