Jonathan Dean Lewis, 33

Jonathan Dean Lewis, 33, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. A celebration of Jon’s life will be held at a later date.

Jon was born on February 3, 1988, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Roger Lewis and Julie Stevens. He grew up and attended schools in Sandpoint, where he excelled at art and running track. In 2000, he was the Hersey track meet sprint champion.

He married Shaely Sage on April 20, 2005, at the Hitching Post; and they had a daughter Briarra. Jon worked as a landscaper and as an apprentice plumber.

Jon was gifted as an artist, he enjoyed graffiti, Native American art, and prison art. His artwork could be seen at The Loading Dock in Sandpoint before it was redone as two pizza shops, the last one burning down.

He is survived by his daughter, Briarra Lewis of Sagle; mother ,Julie Raver of Sandpoint; father, Roger Lewis of Spokane; siblings, Savanah Huckabee of Elmira, Duke Huckabee of Sagle, Dezarea Fortuna of Spokane, Keith Lewis of Post Falls, and Daisy Huckabee of Sagle. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
