| June 15, 2021 1:00 AM

Bonner General Health's Immediate Care Clinic is moving to downtown Sandpoint.

The clinic will now be found at 520. N Third Ave. It had been located in Ponderay.

Located on the south side of the hospital building, the entrance is to the left of the Emergency Department, on Alder Street, between Second and Third avenues.

"With the continued growth at BGIC, our new location allows for extra space to treat patients, more staff, and effortless transfer of patients who require a higher level of care," Erin Binnall, BGH public information officer.

Hospital officials said the Bonner General Immediate Care team is excited to continue offering quality patient-centered care in collaboration with additional service lines and equipment at Bonner General Health.

"Because we never know when immediate health care services will be needed, our same caring staff will continue serving patients seven days a week," Binnall said.

Beginning Monday, June 21, Bonner General Immediate Care Clinic will see patients seven days a week its new downtown location. The clinic will be open 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday; and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday-Sunday.
