Jim Woodward is a trusted voice of reason

The Bonner County Republican Central Committee asking Jim Woodward to resign is confusing. It makes one reflect on what this one committee truly feels reflects the party.

Apparently, it is not doing due diligence by talking with key players and making informed voting decisions. Apparently, it is not being a well-respected business and family man who gives back to their community. Apparently, it is not serving in our military to protect and serve for over 20 years. Apparently, it is not backing the undermining of our Republican Governor.

Instead, it seems the BCRCC supports people who vandalize their office, leave active sessions to support an armed takeover in another state, accuses fellow female legislators of sleeping their way on committees, openly supports white nationalism, and recently tried to have a sexual abuse victim arrested in order to cover for a fellow state Republican. That lunacy is guano.

Senator Woodward, you have the respect and support of Bonner County. It takes courage to do the right thing sometimes but we trust you to be the stand-up guy that we all know and voted for. Thank you, sir, for being a voice of reason.
