Shane Dunaway, 52

| June 29, 2021 1:00 AM

Shane Dunaway, 52, passed away on June 12, 2021, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

A celebration of Shane’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, in the New Life Church on North Boyer Avenue.

Shane was born on October 16, 1968, in Sioux City, Iowa. An Air Force brat, Shane was raised in Fort Worth, Texas.

He met his wife of 34 years in his late teens in Fort Worth, where Shane became a golf course mechanic and was for many years in Texas and later in Idaho.

Shane began working for Litehouse Inc. In the early 2000s and worked in sanitation for over a decade. Late in his life he pursued his dream job of driving a truck for Litehouse. Spent several years gaining the experience to go and get the position he wanted as international truck driver for Litehouse, a job he enjoyed until his death.

Shane was a doting family man, and very close to his wife and son.

Kind and jovial; but jovial doesn't really describe him. He was funny and people loved him. He loved people, and he loved God.

Most people can remember the moment they met Shane. He was a friend to all. Genuine and easy going. He will be painfully missed by his family and community.

Family and friends are invited to sign Shane’s online guest book at www.coffeltfuneral.com.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service
