Sandpoint cheer, dance teams depart for state Thursday

The Sandpoint High School cheer and dance teams will begin their journey to compete in the 4A state championships at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa on Thursday morning. The teams depart at 6 a.m. and will get a police escort on their way out of town. The cheer team will compete between 2:30-5:30 p.m. on Friday while the dance team will hit the floor at noon-4 p.m. Saturday. Both competitions will be livestreamed on the NFHS Network.
