NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Ponderay Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 5:30 p.m., to consider the following requests: File AM21-022 - Zoning Text Amendment, Accessory Dwelling Units, Industrial Zone Uses and Height Restrictions - The Ponderay Planning Commission has initiated an amendment to the land use regulations of Ponderay City Code (PCC). The proposed amendment would modify the text of Title 9, Chapter 4, Zoning District Regulations, to allow for construction of a single accessory dwelling unit on a lot or parcel of land in Residential and Rural zones. The proposal would also modify PCC 9-4D-3, INDUSTRIAL USES PERMITTED and PCC 9-4D-4, INDUSTRIAL SPECIAL USES. Additionally, the proposed amendment would modify, Title 9, Chapter 5A, Section 4 to allow for construction of three-story structures by right where currently planning commission approval is required when a structure exceeds two stories.
