Sandpoint Rotary launches food, clothing drive
SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint Rotary Club is seeking the community's help to help those in need.
For the next three Wednesdays, starting Nov. 3, the club will be conducting a winter clothing and Thanksgiving food drive for the Bonner Community Food Bank. Donations may also be dropped on other weeks to the Sandpoint location of Northwest Autobody.
Among items sought are winter clothing (gently used or new), including men and women's coats, boys and girls coats, snow boots (both adult and children), socks (both adult and children) and blankets.
Among the food items sought are frozen turkeys, canned Cranberries
Canned Pumpkin, Canned Yams, and Canned Cream of Mushroom soup. Monetary donations also are accepted.
Food bank officials will send a van each Wednesday to Tango Cafe at 1:15 p.m.
