Martin Leslie Buenger, 78, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, at his home in Clark Fork, Idaho.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 9, 202,1 in the Clark Fork Cemetery. Pastor Nick Larsen will be officiating.

Martin was born on October 28, 1943, in Oxnard, California, the son of Frederick and Erna Buenger. He would attend St. Johns Lutheran School and graduated from Oxnard High School in 1961. He would go on to Ventura Junior College and received his associates degree in 1963.

In 1964, Martin would join the Air Force until he was honorably discharged in 1968 serving during the Vietnam War.

Martin was a civilian computer programmer for the federal government at Point Muga Naval Air Force Base until 1979.

He would move to Salmon, Idaho, and would meet Pamela Kay and they were married in 1981. Martin retired in 2008 and moved to Clark Fork in 2009 where he has lived since.

Martin loved spending time with his dogs and any animals, fishing and watching western and horror movies.
