Getting ready for the holidays

Sandpoint crews check on the branches of the city's 28-foot Christmas tree that was installed in the Jeff Jones Town Square on Tuesday. Lights will be put up around town today. The community will kick off the holidays officially on Friday, Nov. 26, with a celebration starting at 5:30 p.m. at the square. Santa will arrive at 6 p.m. and cider, cookies and hot chocolate will be provided by Ting.
