Lynnae Marie (Seppala) Reed

Longtime Sandpoint resident Lynnae Marie (Seppala) Reed, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 24,2021 at her home in Palmer, Alaska, where she resided for the last seven years. Our beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and grandmother was taken from us far too soon.

Lynnae was born in Cloquet, Minnesota, on April 11, 1959, the daughter of Melvin and Joyce (Grindle) Seppala. She was the second of four children. In 1973, Lynnae moved to Sandpoint, Idaho with her parents and three brothers. She attended and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1977.

Lynnae was passionate about movies and had been in the movie rental business since the early 1980s. She eventually bought and operated the Korner Video store in Sagle, Idaho, from 2000 to 2005, but worked there previously for many years.

Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and love were core values and she touched countless hearts through her warm smile and tender heart. Her love for life, family and friendship was irresistible. She would never take for granted a moment spent with a friend or family member.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Mike Reed; sons, James Martin (Kris) and Cory Martin (Kristy); mother, Joyce Seppala; brothers, Kevin Seppala (Sandy) and Ross Seppala (Lisa); grandchildren, nieces, and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Seppala; and father, Melvin Seppala.
