Robert Douglas Kennedy, 49
Robert Douglas Kennedy was welcomed into the Kennedy family on March 30, 1972, in Sandpoint, Idaho, the first of three handsome sons.
Better known as Doug, to many family and friends, he was a part of the Sandpoint community his entire life, and made friends everywhere he went. Doug Attended Northside Elementary School and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1990. He enjoyed being in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He also enjoyed being a member of the Gold ’n’ Grouse 4-H Club.
Doug had a strong work ethic and many valuable life skills, he attributed to growing up on the family farm. Operating heavy equipment was the highlight of his career. There wasn't a machine he didn't know how to operate. He loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, getting firewood and snowmobiling. The gentle giant that was always smiling with a hand shake you’ll never forget.

He leaves behind parents, Bob and Needie Kennedy; brothers David and wife Abby Kennedy, and Scott and wife Christina Kennedy; nieces Bailey and Libby Kennedy; friend, Melisa Kennedy; stepsisters, Laurie and Lisa; Uncle Paul, Auntie Laurie, and Auntie Shellie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
