Missing man's remains found

PRIEST RIVER — The remains of a Priest River man were found Tuesday in the Pend Oreille River.
Tito Lopez-Burbano, 44, was found by the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office’s dive team on Monday, Oct. 11, one mile downstream from the Merritt Brother’s bridge on Wisconsin St. in Priest River.
Lopez-Burbano was reported missing after his car was found on the bridge Sunday morning, Oct. 3. Lopez-Burbano was last seen by his family the previous evening, according to information from BCSO.
Autopsy results indicated drowning as the cause of death and revealed no indication of suspicious circumstances, BCSO officials said in a press release.
