Patriotic Golf Scramble raises over $19,000 for local veterans

SANDPOINT — The 14th annual Patriotic Golf Scramble held at the Elks on Sept. 26 raised over $19,000 for local veterans.
The event began with a beautiful sunrise and it just got better and better throughout the day. Eighty golfers took the course to support veterans in Bonner and Boundary counties.
The Elks said the community has a big heart and they are forever grateful for their generosity. The event committee wanted to thank all who played, supported and volunteered to make the event possible.
Dan Hull, Russ Brisboy, Mike Thompson and Steve Oliver secured the first-place team title.
