Donald Nicholas Bush, 48
Donald Nicholas Bush, 48, left this world for the next on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
Private services have been held.
He was born December 31, 1972, in Ashland, Oregon, and grew up in the Kennewick, Washington, and Sandpoint, Idaho, areas. Later, he briefly attended North Idaho College. His talents led him to manage Priest River Tattoo, work in the construction industry, drive for ITD and perform materials testing as a transportation technician, ultimately overseeing the Granite Hill project and the Beck Road Interchange.
He liked to repair things, but his true passion was creating things. He could weld, fabricate, forge, paint, sew, solder and bend materials to bring life to designs and ideas. If it wasn't done perfectly, it wasn't done. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone, often going out of his way to provide assistance.
Don leaves behind his “wifey-type lady” Carol Morales of Spokane. He would tell anyone that as soon as he saw her, in 1998, he knew she was his one, that he would marry her someday. Although they spent the last eight years loving each other, they never got the chance to formalize their union. He also leaves his beloved children, Donald A. and Ava E. Bush of Priest River; stepchildren, Shannon Martin of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Christina Ess of Illinois, and Jacob Bailey of Spokane, Washington; fur children, Cracker and Rassel; mother ,Ellen Reh-Bower (Gary) of Dolan Springs, Arizona; father, Donald E. Bush (Janet) of Seattle, Washington; brother, Jason Bush of Arizona; niece Larkin Pierce of Spokane; and many, many friends.
Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint is handling the arrangements. Please visit Don’s online memorial at www.lakeviewfuneral.com and sign his guest book.
